Home for the Holidays?

Sweet Sage is finally over her cold! She has been spayed & microchipped and is completely vaccinated. She is ready to go to her new home... now she just has to find her family!

She will be at our group's Meet & Greet tomorrow, Saturday, December 8 from 11 AM - 4 PM... Come meet this doll in person!

13 Weeks Old!

Sage is getting over her cold, but she had to miss BOTH Meet & Greets this month- poor girl! It will be a whole 3 weeks before the next one, but hopefully her family will find her before then!

All About Sage

Sage will be 12 weeks old on Sunday! She is such a sunny and happy puppy, full of playful fun. She really enjoys being with her people and plays so well with other dogs. So far, she doesn't seem very interested in cats. She is good with children. She loves playing with her doggy toys. She is crate trained and very reliable on her housetraining with close supervision (we haven't given her much of a chance to fail, so she may be reliable even without supervision at this point). She is at a wonderful age for learning all of those obedience and home manners things that a puppy needs. She is all set for her Forever Home to find her!

Sage has a cold

Darling Sage has had a bit of a cold and might have to miss the group's Meet & Greet on Saturday. Poor girl! She is playing and eating as usual and doesn't seem to feel badly at all, but she has an occasional cough that is typical of kennel cough.

Meet & Greet: Sunday, October 28!

Nutmeg and Sage will be at our special Herding Dog Day! Meet & Greet Event today at the Great Hills Trail PETCO from 1-4. If you are a fan of these girls or Aussies or Herding Dogs in general, come see us.

Nutmeg's 1st Meet & Greet!

Saturday was mama Nutmeg's 1st Meet & Greet. She and Sage were there together and lots of people noted how lovely she is. Nutmeg has been spayed and microchipped now and has gained over 5 pounds so far. Way to go!

Pepper gets a chance!

Pepper went to stay with a wonderful family on Wednesday night for her trial foster-to-adopt period. Sage and the rest of us really miss her, but we are so glad she has found such a GREAT home!

1st Meet & Greet!

Pepper & Sage went to their first Meet & Greet yesterday and were a big hit! We are very hopeful that they will find homes soon, though we are thoroughly enjoying them here. They are playful and fun puppies that like to cuddle and give kisses too.

Nutmeg is due to be spayed tomorrow.

The Spice Girls

Wonderful Nutmeg and her sweet pups, Pepper & Sage, tugged at my heart as soon as I heard about them. I couldn't resist them! Nutmeg stayed here for a week so that we could take her to the vet and begin to feed her and help her regain her health. But her puppies pursued her relentlessly, so we sent her to the Rescue director's home for some TLC away from the babies.

Pepper and Sage are some of the best puppies we have EVER had. So playful and outgoing! They were born in a family's home and they clearly had lots of love and attention. The girls have a good start on housebreaking and crate training. They will be ready to go to their trial homes by the 1st of November, but their adoptions will not be finalized until they are spayed (probably in mid-November).

Nutmeg will need to gain enough weight to be spayed before she can be adopted as well.
